CONGRATULATIONS COUGARS!!
The MVHS Boys Varisty
Lacrosse team took 5th in the Sisters Lacrosse Tournament with 3
wins and 1 loss. YOU GUYS WERE AMAZING!! First
game won in overtime against West Salem - 2nd in their league. Lost
the 2nd game against High Sierra from Nevada (they ended up taking
4th at the tournament and when we played them, they had just come
off a bye). Won our 3rd game at 8:30 in the morning against
Roseburg who are 1st in their division and finished strong against
Liberty who are 2nd in their division.
WE AREN'T DONE
YET.........PRACTICE THIS WEEK - with Game in Newberg on Wednesday
and Districts on Friday.
NEWBERG GAME
- Wednesday 5/11 5:00 p.m. in Newberg. -- We will be leaving the school
at 1:00 and will have you released at 12:45. Should be a great
game!!
DISTRICTS
- Our conference districts start Friday 5/13. Originally we
were to travel to Burns, but our first game is against BEND
HIGH and that game will be played here in Bend. Field
location has not been determined yet. GAME TIME: 4:00 P.M. If we
win, we will likely travel to Burns on Saturday for the 2nd game of
the division, but there is talk of bringing the rest of the playoffs
to Bend. If we play like we did at the tournament, we can
definitely beat Bend High.

STRONG - COME TO PRACTICE AND BE READY FOR THE DISTRICT FINALS!!!!
